Community Action Project

“When we empower a woman, we empower a family, when we empower a family, we empower an entire community”. Hillary Clinton

Dear  Community ( St. Charles, St. Louis, and East St. Louis Area Businesses and Families),

Dress for Success Midwest Professional Women’s Group (PWG) is gearing up for our Community Action Project (CAP).  We hope you will support us by making a contribution.
In the past some of our Community Action Projects have focused to increase awareness of sexual abuse, providing women with information regarding legal advocacy and mentoring teenage women.
Our theme this year is “Yes We Can! Women Overcoming Obstacles.”  The goal is to support women who are re-entering society from incarceration, homeless women and women living in poverty.  We are planning to host a Women’s Resource Fair featuring workshops to equip participants with information about community resources and approaches to overcome obstacles may be holding them back.
We are seeking corporate sponsorships and in-kind donations for our project. Enclosed you will find a list of our needs, sponsorship levels and information about our organization. We look forward to partnering with you to make a positive difference in our community. Your contribution will be greatly appreciated.

What a fantastic community project and I’m happy to help with donations, publicity–do you need workshop facilitators or presenters? I’ll pray for the success of your project, as well. God bless!
